Message to the members: It is a pleasure and a privilege to serve STCU and its members as a member of the Supervisory Committee. During my tenure, I have come to appreciate the complexity of an organization such as STCU and its amazing growth and success in serving the members and the community. There is still much to learn, and I look forward to continuing that education in order to best serve STCU.

Resume: Shirley received her BA in English/Ed at the University of Washington, her Masters in Education at Eastern Washington University and her PHD in Leadership/Philosophy at Gonzaga University. She is also a Certified Fund Specialist. Shirley was a teacher and librarian with Central Valley School District for 18 years and worked as a financial advisor for six years after her retirement from the school district. She is active in raising funds for various community service organizations such as Cancer & Community Charities and volunteers time and energy to the Women's and Children's Free Restaurant.
