Message to the members: I feel privileged and honored to have been elected to the board of such a progressive and forward thinking organization. I continue to be impressed with what STCU has done for its members and our community. I will strive to help us achieve our mission of "maximizing members" benefits through cost-effective financial services consistent with cooperative principles, applicable legislation, and prudent management".

Resume: Ellen received her BS and MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She currently serves as Treasurer for the City of Spokane. Prior to her time with the City of Spokane she was an Investment Analyst for Southern California Edison. Ellen has served as a volunteer for Newborns in Need, St. Charles Parish School, Association of Public Treasurers, Washington Municipal Treasurer’s Association, and is a soccer coach for the Spokane Youth Sports Associations.
