1.       Central Supplies, Forms, and Office Equipment

·         Coordinate, purchase, maintain and deliver standard forms, supplies and equipment to ensure availability to staff while minimizing overstocking costs. 

·         Provides guidance to branch staff to maintain optimum levels of inventory at their locations to evaluate usage and costs of items purchased

·         Receive purchase requests from Credit Union staff; review the requests for appropriateness; prepare purchase orders and purchase the supplies as needed, including set up of new branch locations.

·         Work with Support Services Manager and the Accounting Department to track yearly supply budgets and expenditures to ensure budget goals are achieved. 

·         Coordinate the purchase and maintenance of office equipment, to include copiers, fax machines, encoders, cash dispensing, coin counting machine, currency counters, and other similar equipment.

·         Responsible for the coordination of the sale and disposition of surplus furniture and equipment within policy guidelines.

2.       Vendor Relationships

·         Evaluate, bid, award and nurture vendors and products selection focusing on vendor reliability, quality product and service delivery with competitive pricing.

3.       DRP Kits

·         Purchase and maintain disaster recovery kits for all locations.

4.       Fixed Asset Support

·         Assist the Accounting staff in the identification, tracking and periodic verification of fixed assets.

5.       Compliance, Security and Disaster Recovery

·         Maintain knowledge in and adhere to compliance standards for the department.

·         Adhere to security procedures and fraud controls to protect members, staff, and assets.

·         Recommend changes to the disaster recovery plan for the department.

·         Perform additional duties as required by the Support Services Manager or other designee for efficient operation of the department and/or credit union.  This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       High school graduate and at least four years purchasing and inventory control experience.

2.       Previous experience with contacting vendors, obtaining price quotes and negotiating quantity purchases.

3.       Excellent oral and written communication skills.

4.       Excellent organization skills.

5.       Proficient in basic mathematics.

6.       Ability to work with members and staff tactfully and professionally.

7.       Ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-directed and make independent decisions.

8.       A passion for people and a commitment to service.

9.       Previous experience in keyboarding/PC and 10-key calculator.  Windows XP experience with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.

10.   Available to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

11.   Meets physical requirements of the job:
