80% Lending Center Loan Officer Performance
1. Loan Product Production
· Perform lending and some member service functions from multiple delivery channels for STCU members accurately, timely, and in alignment with job standards and procedures. This includes auto, boat, RV, and home equity loans, working directly with members, as well as auto and RV loans through STCU's Indirect Program.
· Analyze credit reports and make lending decisions within established lending limits.
· Seek out opportunities to assist members with bringing loans over to STCU.
· Organizes loan turn-around time and credit decision deadlines to meet the member's needs and maximize production.
· Responsible for meeting all department expectations regarding loan production, phone availability and the cross-selling of payment protection, extended warranties, GAP and rescued loans!

· Foster and maintain constructive relationships with members and dealers through STCU's Indirect Program.
· Provide members with outstanding service in all interactions, and look for opportunities to improve their financial well being.
· Constructively resolve member service issues and problems with professionalism, compassion and respect.
3. Credit Life and Disability / Vehicle Service Agreement Coverage
· Provide product information to members and present the benefits of coverage in a knowledgeable and thorough manner.
4. Compliance, Security and Disaster Recovery
· Maintain knowledge in and adhere to compliance standards for the department.
· Adhere to security procedures and fraud controls to protect members, staff, and assets.
· Recommend changes to the disaster recovery plan for the department.

· Participate and/or consult on departmental or organizational projects that contribute to the evolvement of STCU's culture and strategic vision and/or achievement of goals.
· Contribute as an effective project team member and complete all tasks and assignments in a timely manner.

· Perform additional duties as required by the Lending Center Manager, Assistant Manager or other designee for efficient operation of the department and/or credit union. This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate or equivalent. Some college preferred.
2. Minimum three years experience in consumer loan underwriting and approval required.
3. A passion for people and a commitment to service.
4. Ability to work well with members, staff, and dealers tactfully and professionally, both in person and on the phone.
5. Demonstrates good analytical skills, ability to work independently, and above average dependability.
6. Previous experience in keyboarding/PC and 10-key calculator. Windows XP experience with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel strongly preferred.
7. Available to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
8. Meets physical requirements of the job:
