How to clear your browser's cache

Your browser keeps a temporary copy of nearly everything it downloads, in case it is needed again. This speeds up surfing, but sometimes you want to get rid of all of these old items to ensure you are getting the latest information.
Safari 1.3
- On the Safari menu, choose Empty Cache...
Firefox 1.5
- On the Firefox menu, choose Preferences.
- Choose the Privacy option.
- On the Cache tab, click the Clear Cache Now button.
- On the Cookies tab, click the View Cookies button. Find any cookies named stcu.org, www.stcu.org, netteller.stcu.org, and/or secure.stcu.org, highlight them and click the Remove Cookies button.
- Close the Privacy window when finished.
Netscape 7.2
- On the Netscape menu, choose Preferences.
- Click to expand the Advanced category.
- Click the Cache option, and then click the Clear Cache button.
- Click OK to close the Preferences window.
Opera 8.54
- On the Opera menu, choose Preferences...
- Under the Advanced tab, click the History option in the left menu.
- Click the Empty now button to the right of the Disk cache option.
- Click the Cookies option in the left menu, and then click the Manage cookies... button.
- In the Server manager window, find any cookies named stcu.org, www.stcu.org, netteller.stcu.org, and/or secure.stcu.org, click to highlight them, and then click the Delete button. Click the Close button to close the Server manager window.
- Click OK to close the Preferences window.
Internet Explorer 5.2
- On the Explorer menu (the Edit menu if there is no Explorer menu using Mac OS 9), choose Preferences...
- On the left menu under Web Browser, choose Advanced.
- Click the Empty Now button in the Cache section of the page.
- Click OK to exit the Internet Explorer Preferences window.
