Premium BillPay let's you designate a payment to any e-mail address on earth, for any reason, at any time. Money doesn't actually change hands through e-mail, but it starts the process of an electronic payment between two accounts. Your e-mail alerts CheckFree to verify that both the sender and receiver are registered to receive or send electronic payments before the funds you designate are withdrawn from or deposited to your account.
| Has Someone Invited You to Try E-mail Payments? Here are two options: |
|---|
Option 1Members of Spokane Teachers Credit Union can enjoy sending and receiving e-mail payments by enrolling in STCU's Premium BillPay. You get the full range of online bill-paying features, plus the power to send and receive e-mail payments. Get more information about how to enroll in Premium BillPay. |
Option 2If you simply want to send and receive e-mail funds without using the other features of STCU's Premium BillPay, you can enroll in CheckFree's E-mail Payments Service. Receiving money from other subscribers is FREE when using this option, but there is a small charge anytime you send more than three e-mail payments per month. |
With either option listed above, you first must complete the one-time enrollment process. Taking time to enroll protects the security of your accounts. During this process you will be asked to provide personal information to verify your identity and financial institution account information that the funds will be sent to. That ensures that only those verified to receive or send money have the authority to do so.
Once your e-mail address is registered with CheckFree, you're ready to receive e-mail payments. Funds sent to you will be transferred using the ACH system, the Federal Reserve network for electronic transfer of funds. You will be notified whenever someone e-mails funds to your registered e-mail address and the funds will be transferred automatically.* You do nothing—except receive the money!
