Saving money can be fun!

You can use money to buy candy, toys, movies, or games. But once it’s gone, will there be anything left for the big stuff you've been dreaming about? Like a bicycle, a video game, or a friend’s birthday gift?

Use a Money Jar to save for the stuff you want – plus have money left over to share with a sick or poor person, a hospital, or other charity.

Here’s how it works:

1. Add up the money you have now or expect to earn or receive later.
2. Put the money you want to spend immediately in the “spend” slot.
3. Put money for big stuff in the future in the “save” slot.
4. Put money you want to share with others in the “share” slot.
