We're all hearing a lot about swine flu these days.
Health officials say there's no need to panic, but they do advise taking reasonable precautions. Like getting plenty of rest, eating healthy foods, and washing your hands frequently.
What's that have to do with your credit union?
We just want you to know that STCU is taking reasonable steps, too. Like stocking up on hand sanitizer, and reminding our staff to stay home if they're not feeling well or have an ill child.
And we offer plenty of alternatives to in-person transactions, in case you're feeling a little uneasy about visiting places where people congregate.
Now's a good time to try online banking, for instance. It's simple to set up and easy to use. You'll find it in the left-hand column of our home page. You can also arrange for direct deposit of your paycheck into any of your accounts.
Or you can call our telephone service center, where a helpful member service specialist will assist you with your transaction. Dial (509) 326-1954 in Washington, (208) 619-4000 in Idaho, or toll-free at (800) 858-3750.
You can also access your accounts by phone through our Computer-Aided Telephone Teller. CATT® provides account access and information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Finally, you can use one of our surcharge-free ATMs.
Of course, our 14 branches are wonderful places to visit, and we're always glad to see you. We just want you to know there are alternatives, in case you decide to use them.
