With the STCU Money Jar Game

[June 4, 2008]

STCU loves kids and we want them to start early with smart saving and spending.

In 2007, we launched the STCU Money Jar and Kids Club to make money management a fun and empowering experience. In less than a year, we gave away more than 7,000 jars and added nearly 200 kids to our Kids Club roster.

Now, here on stcu.org, kids can play along with the awesome virtual Money Jar Game or read the eBook to learn about the adventures of Noom and Raj.

Like the Money Jar, the game teaches kids to set goals for saving, spending, and sharing. Kids earn money in a variety of ways and keep the money in their virtual jars for goals such as sharing with a local food bank or saving for an American Girl Doll.

The STCU Money Jar game also teaches important coin recognition and addition skills. Reach your goal when you put the correct amount of money in each jar. You can play again and again, setting new goals and working to achieve them. It's great for parents, teachers and kids of all ages.

Play today when you visit STCU Financial Education pages.

To get your real life Money Jar for free, visit any branch location or order a jar online.
