What's Shared Branching?

Credit unions team up to answer the question on TV commercial

If Inland Northwest credit unions can share members, ATMs, and ideas, why can't they share a TV commercial to promote the use and understanding of "shared branching?"

They can. And we did.

For the first time in Spokane, seven participating credit unions have teamed up to produce a hot new TV spot running on local TV and cable stations.

This 30-second spot was shot at locations throughout Spokane. Can you figure out where?

Follow our "busy person" as she sprints from branch to branch. She makes deposits, withdraws cash, picks up traveler's checks, and conducts other transactions at participating shared branching credit unions. All she needs is her account number, her government-issued picture ID, and membership at Spokane Teachers or one of six other participating credit unions.

You won't find this kind of cooperation at most banks. Thanks to the shared branching network, members of Spokane Teachers can do almost any transaction at more than 30 local branches just as if you belonged to all of them. Some with Saturday hours!
