STCU has been named Business Benefactor of the Year for Spokane arts.
The Spokane Arts Commission on October 1 announced the award during the annual City of Spokane Arts Awards presentation to the Spokane City Council. STCU was lauded for being involved with many different programs that support the Arts in the Spokane community.
"Art is a large part of our community and STCU recognizes the need to get involved," says Kathleen Kozlowski, director of business development and community relations. "In the last year, STCU has sponsored many event and programs, including exhibits at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, Artfest, and EWU's Get Lit! to name a few."
Partnering with the Spokane Symphony, STCU sponsors the "Symphony Yes Concerts," which exposes the children of our community to classical music. STCU also helps involve kids with the arts by sponsoring theater productions at the Central Valley Schools and creative writing workshops for students in low income schools.
STCU is proud to be involved in the many programs that support the arts in our community. We are honored to accept the Spokane Art Commission's award.
Thank you!!
