Symphony YES! for kids

Family-friendly pricing, and lots of extras, for Spokane Symphony classics concerts

Ignite your kids’ passion for classical music through the Symphony YES! program for children ages 8 to 14 and their parents. STCU is the proud sponsor.

Participants get:

  • Greatly reduced prices of $30 for 1 adult and 1 child (available only through the Spokane Symphony Ticket Office).
  • Seats selected for their kid-friendly views of the orchestra.
  • Pre-concert talks, which may include backstage tours and meeting world-renowned artists.
  • Special program materials.

Symphony Yes! Events are Sunday afternoons, with pre-concert talks at 2 p.m., and concerts at 3 p.m. All concerts are at the magnificently restored Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox.

  • October 11 - Beethoven! - Hear the Fifth Symphony and Violin Concerto under the direction of Conductor Eckart Preu, with violinist Mateusz Wolski.
  • November 22 - Dance Fever - Dance music, harp music and a symphony by Schuman, featuring visiting harpist Yolanda Kondonassis, and Resident Conductor Morihiko Nakahara.
  • March 21, 2010 - From the Golden City - A symphony about the New World, with Conductor Eckart Preu and guest cellist Gautier Capuçon.
  • April 18, 2010 - Bursts of Nature - The work of French composers and a Brahms’ symphony under the direction of Guest Conductor Larry Rachleff.
