I'm not a member. Can I get an STCU Visa gift card?
Sorry, this is a member-only offer.

How come there is a $4.95 fee?
That is how much it costs STCU to print the card and load it on the Visa network.

How big can my gift be?
You can ask us to load any amount from $10 to $750.

How do I activate the card?
Gift cards are kept behind our counters until purchased. Your gift card is automatically activated within two hours of the purchase.

Where can I use the gift card?
When you sign for your transaction, you can use the gift card anywhere that displays the Visa logo.

Can it be used for online purchases?
You bet! We recommend that you first register your card at http://www.mycardex.com/ to secure the value of the card if it is lost, stolen, or destroyed. Card registration also allows you to check your available balance.

Are the gift cards reloadable?
Sorry, but gift cards are meant to be loaded once and then destroyed when the value has been exhausted.

Can I get cash back on the remaining balance?
Merchants won't do that, but you're welcome to contact CardEx about recouping the remaining balance.
