As a free social networking service, Twitter lets you connect with those you care about, sending and reading one another's updates ("tweets") from your mobile device or home computer.
Some people do it once a week; some once a minute. Some use it to track famous people such as Ashton Kutcher, who beat CNN in the race to 1 million followers (he now has more than 7.5 million!). Others use it to follow news updates from KXLY, KHQ, KREM, and other sources.
