Does it cost to participate in an STCU rewards program?

No. However, you may be responsible for taxes, fees, or other charges associated with the issue of rewards airline tickets and other rewards or benefits redeemed from participating companies. Consult your STCU Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

How do I select or change my card's personal identification number (PIN)?

This can be done quickly by calling (888) 891-2435.

I have a joint credit card account. Will we both have the same PIN?

No. Each of you will need to call and select a unique PIN for each card on your account.

How do I earn rewards points?

You earn one point for every $1 spent on purchases with an STCU Rewards World Mastercard. However, the STCU Premier Rewards World Mastercard earns 2X points on two categories of your choice, and 3X points on all travel purchases.

If you return a purchase and receive credit to your account, the points are deducted from your total. Fraudulent transactions reversed from your account are also deducted from your point total.

Where can I see how many points I have earned?

Log into STCU's online banking and your points will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

How do I redeem my points?

Log into STCU online banking and click "Go to rewards." There you will find options for redeeming your points. You can also call the STCU Rewards Service Center at (855) 445-6719 between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. weekdays, or 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends. All redemptions are final; we can't offer refunds or cancellations.

How do I select 2x points categories on my Premier Rewards card?

It's easy! First, log into STCU online banking and click on "Go to rewards." Then, click on "Earn," where you'll find a "Select Categories"” button. Choose your two categories. When you click "save," you are locking in your selections for 90 days.

You can also call the STCU Rewards Service Center at (855) 445-6719, available 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays; or 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends.

How do I change my 2x point categories?

Click "Go to rewards" in STCU online banking, then click "Earn." The date on the page indicates when you are eligible to change your categories. Select your preferred categories and click "save," locking in your selections for another 90 days.

Is there a limit to the points I can accumulate?

No! Feel free to redeem your points as you earn them, or build them up for bigger rewards. Points add up quickly with the STCU Premier Rewards World Mastercard, where there is no cap on the number of double or triple points you can earn.

Do my points expire?

The points you earn on purchases never expire, as long as you use your card to make at least one purchase every 24 months. Bonus points expire one year from the date they're awarded (unless otherwise disclosed in the terms of the promotion or bonus points offer). Gifted points transferred to another STCU member expire in six months, no matter how they were earned by the person gifting them to you.

Am I required to allocate points to a certain category in order to use them?

No. You may redeem points for any available item, service, credit, charity or experience. Points are applied/allocated at the time of redemption.

When are points posted to my account?

Typically the day after you earn them.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong with a flight that I purchased using my STCU Rewards?

Contact the airline directly, using the phone numbers printed on your flight itinerary. Your itinerary will be emailed to you after you redeem points for air travel.

What happens if I cancel a flight booked through the STCU Rewards website?

Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable. Any changes must be handled directly with the airline listed on your itinerary. You may be subject to airline fees.

Can I get airline frequent flyer miles for airline tickets I purchase with STCU points?

Yes. Provide your airline frequent flyer number on the booking website, or speak to a booking agent if you redeem your points by phone.

Can I combine my points and my frequent flyer miles for free airline tickets?

Sorry. The STCU Rewards program is independent of airline frequent flyer miles, and you cannot redeem your points for miles.

Do reward certificates or gift cards expire?

Expiration dates vary depending on the merchant, so be sure to read the details provided in the rewards description for any certificate or gift card you’re considering.

Can rewards be shipped to foreign countries?

STCU only ships rewards within the United States, or to U.S. military addresses (APO/FPO) overseas. Rewards are not shipped to U.S. territories such as American Samoa, Guam, Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Can e-gift cards be sent to a mobile phone?

Some have that option. If it's available for the e-gift card you select, you'll see instructions on the e-gift card web page. Additional merchant terms and conditions for using e-gift cards on mobile devices may apply.
