How to protect up to $2.5 million

The National Credit Union Administration, a federal agency, insures deposits up to $250,000 per person per account. However, by carefully structuring your savings in multiple accounts, it's possible to increase your insurance coverage to $2.5 million! Here's how a family of four does it:
