Inside for home loans; outside for ATMs.

[published august 22, 2018]

To serve a growing demand for real estate loans, STCU on August 29, 2018, opened its first stand-alone home loan center at I-90's Argonne interchange.

"STCU members will always be able to visit their neighborhood branch location, or go online to apply for a home loan and sign documents," said STCU Chief Lending Officer David Flood. "This stand-alone center gives them another convenient location, with easy access from Interstate 90."

Located at 9207 E. Mission, the Argonne Home Loan Center is on 2 ½ acres STCU purchased in 2012. STCU has extensively remodeled an existing 2,595-square-foot office building, dramatically changing the look of the 1970s-era building.

Staff at the Argonne Home Loan Center will be led by Home Loan Sales Manager Trina Murphy, who has 30 years of home lending experience. Additional staff include Home Loan Officer Kelly Bennett and Loan Officer Assistant Karen Bucknell. Other loan officers will rotate into the centers, and more permanent positions will be added soon.

Use the drive-through ATMs!

While transactions inside the Argonne Home Loan Center will be limited to those directly related to real estate lending, the site also includes two drive-through ATMs available to any member of STCU or other credit unions participating in the CO-OP Network. These surcharge ATMs are a convenient way to withdraw cash, deposit checks, transfer funds, and check account balances — 24 hours a day!

Next up: Southridge in Kennewick

In November 2018, STCU will open its first Tri-Cities location, called the Southridge Financial and Home Loan Center. That full-service branch, located in Kennewick, will include separate space dedicated to helping members with their real estate lending needs. The credit union also has a Home Loan Center inside its Main Branch, 106 W. Nora.
